The Makita DHS900Z is a professional cordless circular saw powered by two 18 Volt batteries installed in separate holders. The two batteries work together to provide a 36 Volt operating voltage, combining the mobility of a cordless tool with the power required for cutting boards, battens, solid wood and hard fibreboard panels. The brushless motor delivers a compact design, extended operating endurance and longer service life. ADT Automatic torque Drive Technology automatically adjusts the rotational speed during operation according to the load, helping maintain suitable performance for different cutting requirements. An ADT indicator lamp flashes in the event of overload. The saw offers a cutting capacity of 85 mm at 0° and 61 mm at 45°. The bevel angle can be adjusted up to 60°, while the lightweight magnesium die-cast base can be used on a guide rail without an adapter. The 235 mm saw blade has a 30 mm bore and reaches a maximum no-load speed of 4.500 U/min. A double LED work light illuminates the cutting area, and the integrated blower helps keep the marking line visible. The non-slip soft grip and additional front grip area support controlled handling, while the motor brake and soft start contribute to safer operation. XPT: Xtreme Protection Technology provides protection against dust and splashing water, and a depth discharge protection system safeguards the battery system. The Makita DHS900Z includes a connection for external dust extraction. Its AWS Auto-Start Wireless System can start the separately available DVC864LZ vacuum cleaner simultaneously with the saw through a Bluetooth connection and switch it off after a delay when the saw stops. This function requires the separately available WUT01 radio adapter. The set includes an Efficut saw blade 235x30x24Z, a parallel guide and a 6mm hexagonal pin wrench.
